Co-counselling for Couples

 

Co-counselling is one method of working with couples. It involves two counsellors working together as a team with the client couple.

The pair of counsellors provides a balance of similarity and difference. Similarity of overall working philosophy   therapeutic approach is maintained. Difference may relate to gender, cultural background and professional experience. The therapists openly share their views with clients and sometimes have brief discussions during sessions that clients are invited to comment on.
